Shipment tracking

Providing shipment tracking information is crucial for keeping your customers informed about their order status. Here’s how to add and manage shipment tracking for your Mech Keybs orders:

Adding Tracking Information

  1. Navigate to your Seller Dashboard
  2. Go to the Orders section
  3. Click on the specific order you want to add tracking information to
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Order details
  5. Look for the “Tracking Number” button and click on it

Entering Tracking Details

A new window will pop up with three fields:

  1. Provider Name/URL: Enter the shipping carrier’s name or website
  2. Tracking Number: Input the tracking number provided by the carrier
  3. Date Shipped: Select the date the order was shipped

After filling in these details, click on the “Add Tracking Details” button.

Updating Order Information

Once you’ve added the tracking information:

  • The order details will be automatically updated
  • A new order note will be added containing the tracking details

Best Practices for Shipment Tracking

  • Add tracking information as soon as the order is shipped
  • Double-check the tracking number for accuracy before adding
  • Use the correct shipping provider name for easy customer reference
  • Update the tracking if there are any changes or issues with the shipment

Customer Notifications

When you add tracking information:

  • Customers will receive an email notification with the tracking details
  • They can use this information to track their package’s progress

Viewing Tracking History

You can view the tracking history for an order at any time:

  1. Go to the specific order in your Seller Dashboard
  2. Check the order notes section to see all tracking updates
